Elkin Elementary School’s After-School Hours Program
An after-school-hours program is offered for working parents of K-4 students attending Elkin Elementary. Students are enrolled on a weekly basis only. This service is provided only for children of working parents who are employed during the hours of after-school operations. Students are well cared for, and they are provided with study time, play time, and snacks. Students may stay until 4:30 or 5:30 P.M. each day. Childcare is also provided on some of the teacher workdays. An information sheet will be sent home at the beginning of the school year; further information (times, dates, and fees) is available in the office.
